Mountain biking Ringsted
Mountain biking is a very popular sport that offers both challenge and a sweat on your brow. And Ringsted offers a couple of great mountain biking trails
In 2014, the mountain bike trail in Vrangeskov was established. It is just over 3 km long and a very popular trail.
In October 2019, Ringsted got another mountain bike trail, this time in Kaserne Park. The trail runs along the southern side of the motorway between the two Ringsted exits.
The trail is about 3.5 km long and has several challenging sections, with sharp turns and jumps along the way.
During this unusually wet winter season, there is quite a bit of water on some parts of the trail, but that just makes the ride more challenging. There are no places you can't reach; you just have to expect some mud in the areas that are the wettest.
Both in Vrangeskov and Kaserne Park, there are plenty of opportunities for great exercise while enjoying the nature
