In central Ringsted, you will find many parking options close to shops and businesses. The parking options include both parking lots and curbside parking, each with individual time restrictions.
How can I avoid parking fines?
Most parking fines are issued because one of the rules below has been violated. Acting in good faith does not change this.
Parking on the sidewalk is prohibited throughout Ringsted Municipality. This means that no part of the vehicle may touch the sidewalk, either while parked or stopped.
Your vehicle must have a parking disc — and only one.
Set the parking disc correctly. A defective parking disc is not a valid reason for a parking fine to be cancelled.
No stopping or no parking regulations must be observed.
Time-limited parking means that a vehicle must completely leave the area. It is not sufficient to reset the parking disc or move the vehicle to another space within the same parking lot.
