Ringsted during the Winter
There is no meteorological definition of when the winter period begins and ends, but in Denmark it is typically the months of December, January and February that we refer to as the winter months.
Snowflakes come in droves if you're lucky, but generally winter offers fewer daylight hours and more cold. Nature can seem unattractive in winter, but if you dress well, you can easily enjoy it - even in the cold months.
And if you don't feel like it, luckily you can also find activities indoors.
