Ringsted Municipality is rich in beautiful nature of a very varied nature. Where a walk along the Ådalen offers rather wide gravel paths, you have to pass quite a few footpaths and stents if you choose a walk around Gyrstinge lake. The 460-year-old Allindelille Fredskov is a natural gem known for rare plants, including the fly orchid ophrys insectifera. The 450-year-old Experience Trail is a 25 km stretch that offers beautiful nature, a rich birdlife, a sea of activity opportunities and a lot of history.

Allindelille Fredskov (forest)

The Lake at Haraldsted - Blue Flag Beach
Haraldsted Lake meanders over approximately 5 km (with an area of about 200 ha) through narrow passages. The lake is characterized by having steep slopes very close to the shoreline.
