Ringsted Municipality is rich in beautiful nature of a very varied nature. Where a walk along the Ådalen offers rather wide gravel paths, you have to pass quite a few footpaths and stents if you choose a walk around Gyrstinge lake. The 460-year-old Allindelille Fredskov is a natural gem known for rare plants, including the fly orchid ophrys insectifera.
